At Reader in Bookland, your satisfaction is our priority. We aim to deliver high-quality books and ensure a smooth shopping experience. This policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for orders placed through www.readerinbookland.com

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging with all tags attached.

Non-Eligible Items

We do not accept returns or cancellations for:

  • Pre-orders, since these are reserved specifically for you.
  • Gifted books.
  • Slight color differences that do not affect readability.

How to Return

  1. Contact us to initiate your return and receive a return authorization number
  2. Pack your item securely in its original packaging
  3. Include your order number and return authorization number
  4. Ship the package to the address provided

Refund Method

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before shipping by contacting our support team.

  • Pre-orders and special order items cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
  • If payment has been made and the order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

Exchanges

If the same book is available, we’ll offer a replacement instead of a refund.

If the book is out of stock, you can choose between:

  • A refund, or
  • A different book of equal value.
